The Japanese Bridge has been a feature in both my daily life and imagination since childhood when I spent many playful hours in its shadows. I have since then learned a great deal about this distintive structure and its position as one of the earliest steel reinforced concrete bridges in North America. I am gratified to now be part of an effort to conserve the Japanese Bridge for future generations.
